Things To Do Over Winter Break
Who can’t wait to be out of school for a while? As most may know winter break is coming soon. Some kids tend to spend a lot of that time in front of a T.V. so here are some things they could do. Some people could go outside and play a sport like soccer, kickball, basketball, baseball or football.
If there is no much of a yard to play in people could go to a park. There are a bunch of parks around marysville to play in. There is Schwartzkopf park around the high school and they have a trail. There is also Eljer park across from the baptist church with a trail you could walk too. Both of those parks also have a baseball diamond or two if you like to play baseball. There is a park around the hope center. That one has a basketball court. All the parks have swings you could swing on.
There is the possibility that it will snow and if it does that you could alway go out and play in the snow. People could make a snowman or snow angel, have a snowball fight or you
could just randomly play in the snow. Anna a
Junior in MHS Claims “It was usually fun playing in the snow with my sister.” There is also stuff you could do inside for people who don’t like the snow. They could always stay inside and read, color, draw, watch tv if anyone doesn’t find that boring or even talk to friends on the phone if they so choose.
For people who don’t like staying in the house all the time but don’t want to spend all their time outside they could go to a friends house. People could also, if they like to read, go down to the library for a little while. Then there is the possibility that some could go to a restaurant if they get hungry. There is Whit’s or Wendy’s though they are both ice cream places. You could also go to some places like Mcdonalds or Burger King.People could go to stores as well. They could go to the stores like Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Walmart or Goodwill.
Actually there is a bunch of places around Marysville to go and hang out even if it seems a little small. It may help to get out of the house sometimes and walk around the city or hang out with some friends and get to know
